Maasbommel sits on the Gouden Ham, a wide bend of the Maas in the country between the Maas and the Waal. The centre combines visiting berths with a harbour cafe, a maintenance hall, a boat lift and a sailmaker, and it publishes its own suggestions for day trips on the water and routes ashore.
