Seven days is just enough to truly get to know Zakynthos. You start at the world-famous Navagio Beach, reachable only by boat and surrounded by towering cliffs. Next come the Blue Caves, where the water is almost impossibly clear, and a day in Zakynthos Town with the Agios Dionysios church and a long lunch at a taverna.
The rest of the week is all about variety. Unwind in Vasilikos at Gerakas and Banana Beach, spot the Caretta Caretta sea turtles in the protected Laganas area, and head into the mountains toward the monastery of Anafonitria. You finish at Porto Limnionas, a hidden bay with turquoise water where you can snorkel or simply stretch out on the rocks. Take your time, the island is in no rush.
