Een slim huis begint niet bij de gadgets maar bij een goede hub. Homey Pro praat met Zigbee, Z-Wave, wifi en Bluetooth, waardoor je vrijwel elk slim apparaat kunt koppelen: lampen, thermostaten, camera's, deurbellen. Voordat je begint maak je een lijst van wat je wilt automatiseren en check je of het compatibel is, zodat je later niet vastloopt.
De installatie zelf is behapbaar: hub in het stopcontact, verbinden met je wifi, account aanmaken in de app en huisgenoten toevoegen. Daarna koppel je je apparaten een voor een en bouw je met Flows je eerste automatiseringen. Lampen aan bij zonsondergang, verwarming uit als iedereen weg is, een melding bij beweging. Klein beginnen en uitbreiden werkt het beste. Voor je het weet doet je huis het denkwerk en jij niet meer.

Suggestion: You can usually find compatibility information on the manufacturer's website.Connect the hub, link it to your Wi-Fi, and create your account in the Homey app. Add housemates so they can also control the smart devices.
Pair your devices one by one via 'Add Device'. Choose the correct category and follow the pairing procedure, which may vary per device.
Build your first Flows: lights on at sunset, heating off when everyone is away, a notification when motion is detected. Start small and expand step by step.
