Een flow is een als-dit-dan-dat regel voor je huis, en met Homey Pro bouw je ze zonder een regel code. Het begint niet bij de techniek maar bij de vraag wat je wilt bereiken: energie besparen, veiliger wonen of gewoon minder aan schakelaars denken. Zet je doelen op een rij en breng in kaart welke apparaten je al hebt, van Philips Hue en Nest tot Ring en Sonos.
In de Flow Editor koppel je triggers aan acties. Als de zon ondergaat, gaan de woonkamerlampen aan. Als de bewegingssensor iets ziet terwijl je weg bent, krijg je een bericht. Met logica en timers bouw je complexere routines, zoals een goedemorgenscenario bij je wekker. Test elke flow onder echte omstandigheden, vraag je huisgenoten om feedback en verfijn. Automatiseren is geen eenmalig klusje: hoe meer je bijstelt, hoe natuurlijker je huis aanvoelt.

First, define your goal for each flow. Do you want to save energy, improve security, or simply add convenience? Write down what your home should be handling for you.
Map out your devices and services: lights and switches, thermostats, security, and multimedia. This way you know what you can combine.
Build your first routine in the Flow Editor. Link a trigger such as 'sun goes down' to an action such as 'turn on the living room lights' and give the flow a clear name.
Suggestion: Use logic and timers for more complex scenarios, for example a good morning routine triggered by your alarm.Test each flow under real conditions and ask your housemates for feedback. Take delay times into account and adjust where necessary.
Review your flows monthly and expand them as you add new devices. The more often you refine them, the more natural your home will feel.
