Make use of the golden hour, shortly after sunrise or just before sunset. Study the shadow lines and color changes in your room or garden.
Suggestion: Experiment with light falling through leaves or curtains.Capture shadows. Pay attention to the shadows of buildings, trees and people, and create compositions in which shadow plays the leading role.
Compare morning and evening light. Photograph the same subject at different times and pay attention to the color tones and the angle of the light.
Go on a photography hunt in your neighborhood. Grab your camera or phone and look for interesting light situations in a park or backyard.
