Met je camera hoef je de werkelijkheid niet te tonen zoals ze is. Zorg dat je camera is opgeladen en je geheugenkaart ruimte heeft, bedenk wat voor landschap je wilt scheppen en kies een geschikte plek, zoals een tuin of stadspark. Experimenteer daar met perspectief: lage hoeken voor drama, hoge hoeken voor overzicht, en speel met afstand om schaal te vervormen.
