The Zeeland gliding club flies from a field at Axel in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, the corner of the country wedged against the Belgian border. It is a club sport here in the fullest sense: members run the winch, the wings and the kitchen between them. Visitors can fly along, and there is a campsite for people who stay the weekend.

Het vliegveld is actief tijdens vliegweer in het seizoen (ruwweg april tot oktober), vooral in het weekend. Bezoekers kunnen meevliegen; het is verstandig vooraf contact op te nemen via het contactformulier of telefonisch.
