A quiet club harbour on the Van Harinxma canal.

The Franeker club keeps its harbour on the Van Harinxmakanaal, the main waterway between Harlingen and Leeuwarden, and maintains the whole thing with volunteer labour from its own members. There are open berths for sailing and motor boats plus a set of covered boathouses, and visiting boats are made welcome alongside the permanent berth holders.
