Golfclub Gaasterland is a unique 9-hole natural golf course in southwest Friesland, set within a protected nature reserve of over 43 hectares along the Sminkewei in Oudemirdum. The course was designed by Alan Rijks and offers, alongside the holes, a driving range, putting green and practice holes.
Visitors enjoy varied fairways with water features, elevation changes and a rich flora and fauna. The modern clubhouse (2011) has changing rooms, showers and a terrace.
