Golfclub Heidemeer is a 9-hole par-70 golf course located in the Heidemeer recreation area in southern Heerenveen, close to ice stadium Thialf. The varied course winds through parkland, the Heidebos forest and alongside the Heidemeer lake, and is open to both members and green-fee players.
The complex features a clubhouse with catering facilities, a golf shop, driving range, putting green and a practice bunker. The club, founded in 1994, has over 400 members and is known for its welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

The course is open year-round for members. Guest players are welcome from 1 March through 30 November; from 1 December through 28 February, green-fee players are unable to play. The course does not work with mandatory tee times. Guest players can place a ball in the ball spiral at hole 1 on arrival, or call ahead to book a tee time.
