Golfclub Westerwolde is a welcoming, accessible club with a 9-hole course located in the De Barlage area near Vlagtwedde, in the heart of the Westerwolde region in eastern Groningen. The course opened in 2002 and was designed by renowned golf course architect Joan Dudok van Heel as his final design.
The compact course (2,468 metres from the yellow tees) challenges players of all levels with narrow fairways, water features and bunkers. Visiting players are more than welcome and can purchase a green fee online via the website.
