Hire a sloop, a sailing boat or a paddleboard south of Groningen.
On the Paterswoldsemeer just south of the city, Zuidwesthoek runs a marina, a chandlery and a rental fleet in one place. You can take out a sloop for six or twelve people, a sailing boat on a season pass, or a paddleboard for an hour. The yard also handles engine servicing and winter storage, so the place stays busy well outside the season.
