Lapjesmarkt

Utrecht, Utrecht

Elke zaterdag since 1597. Four hundred years of fabric.

A fabric market on the Breedstraat in Utrecht that has taken place every Saturday for more than four centuries. The stalls are piled high with rolls of cotton, silk, and linen in every colour and pattern you can imagine. Even if you don't sew, it is well worth a visit. The vendors know their fabrics inside out and will cut exactly what you need.
