Walking the dunes on Sunday
We walk into an open landscape of shifting sand where the horizon disappears. The trails are well-marked, entry is free, and dogs are welcome.

Een nationaal park vol stuivende zandduinen, alsof iemand een woestijn midden in het Nederlandse landschap heeft neergelegd. Je klimt een duin op en opeens zijn er geen bomen, geen gebouwen, geen houvast meer, alleen zand dat zich uitstrekt tot aan de horizon.
Het is verwarrend en mooi tegelijk, en de toegang is volledig gratis. De bospaden langs de randen zijn minstens zo de moeite waard.
