Afternoon views from d'Olle Grieze
We climb 97 metres to look out over Noord-Nederland and, on clear days, spot the Wadden Islands. The historic carillon bells mark the hour as we take in the city below.

The Martinitoren, affectionately nicknamed 'd'Olle Grieze' by the people of Groningen, rises 97 metres into the sky and stands right in the heart of the city. Climb to the top and you are rewarded with a sweeping view across the whole of the northern Netherlands. On clear days you can even spot the Wadden Islands in the distance.
