Museum Paulina Bisdom van Vliet
Haastrecht, Zuid-Holland
Step into a grand nineteenth-century townhouse where time stands still.
Paulina stipulated in her will that her townhouse should remain exactly as she left it. More than a century later, you still walk past laid tables, silk wallpaper, and full china cabinets. As if the lady of the house could walk in at any moment. One of the best-preserved house museums in the Netherlands.
