Nationaal Zweefvliegcentrum Terlet

Terlet is the national gliding centre, on Staatsbosbeheer land north of Arnhem where the Veluwe produces the thermals that make long silent flights possible. Every club on the field offers trial flights to visitors, either winch launched or towed behind an aircraft, lasting fifteen to twenty minutes. The old club canteen is now De Thermiekbel, a restaurant open to pilots and passers by alike.
