On the site where the Netherlands' first Pitch & Putt course was laid out in 1998, Play & Stay Ruinerwold is breathing new life into the 18-hole course. Owners Dion van Doorn and Berber Dijkstra officially opened the venue in April 2026, offering Pitch & Putt as well as Footgolf, a café-restaurant, and space for parties and meetings. The course is set in the Drenthe countryside along the N375 near Koekange and is open to everyone, no golf licence required.
