Around the IJzeren Vrouw pond lies the oldest city park outside the ramparts of Den Bosch, excavated by the steam engine that gave the water its name. You can walk a loop along the water, cast a fishing line, or settle down on a bench among remarkable trees. On the southern side, children enjoy the playground and the small animal meadow with sheep, goats and deer.
