Surf a real wave in the middle of a Rotterdam canal
In the Steigersgracht, a real wave rolls through the heart of the city every few seconds, at the world's first urban surf pool. You book a session with a board and wetsuit and surf with the Markthal just around the corner. Beginners get lessons in the shallow section, while more advanced surfers take on the powerful wave of well over a metre.

The park is open year-round, around ten hours a day. On Sunday mornings and during funeral services at the neighbouring church, activities are temporarily paused. Exact daily times depend on the session schedule; check rif010.nl for up-to-date timetables.
