Tuurtoren in het Horsterwold
Zeewolde, Flevoland
Climb the green tower and spot wild horses in the Stille Kern
Deep in the Stille Kern of the Horsterwold, the largest deciduous forest in the Netherlands, stands this bright green twelve-metre observation tower on top of the Horsterberg. From the platform you scan the wild landscape for herds of konik horses and fallow deer. What makes this spot special is that you are free to roam off the paths. You can park at the De Stille Kern car park on the Bingelweg.
