De Zaanse Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course in the polder de Wijdewormer, less than a quarter of an hour's drive north of Amsterdam. The course lies four metres below sea level and is known as the course with the most water of any golf course in the Netherlands, featuring islands, ditches and a large lake that formed after a dyke breach in 1825.
On five holes you tee off from an old polder dyke with sweeping views, while the wind is a defining factor in play. In addition to the 18-hole course, the club has a covered driving range, a putting green, a chipping green and four par-3 practice holes.
