A bachelor or bachelorette party on board a sloop is a different experience from a night at a bar. The group sits close together in an open boat, cruising along the Dieze and the Stadsdommel with the city as a backdrop. No boating license is required, the rental company gives instructions, and the helm is passed around among the group throughout the trip.
The boat can be decorated with banners, a sign, or a sash for the bride or groom. Drinks and snacks are welcome on board, and a speaker is allowed as long as the music is kept low when passing through residential areas. The route heads via the Smalle Haven toward the Buitenhaven, with a stop at a harbour bar on the way back.
