Zorg daarnaast voor vrije luchtcirculatie rond de binnen- en buitenunit, met minstens zestig centimeter ruimte rond de buitenunit en geen meubels of takken in de weg. Plan jaarlijks een professionele inspectie, zodat een technicus lekkages, storingen en het koelvloeistofniveau kan controleren voor ze problemen worden. En pas je instellingen aan met de seizoenen: in de winter meer verwarmen, in de zomer koelen. Samen zorgen deze ingrepen voor lagere kosten, meer comfort en een pomp die langer meegaat.
