A quiet peat lake where black-tailed godwits land and you can easily walk a loop.
Sixty hectares of water-rich peatland between the Gouwe and the railway, with a large pond fringed by pollard willows and reed beds. You walk an easy loop along the footpaths, scan for meadow birds from the bird hide, and finish at the playground on the south side. By the end of February, the first black-tailed godwits return here from Africa.

Accessible from sunrise to sunset, every day of the year. The toilet block is open from 1 May to 1 October.
