A bachelor or bachelorette weekend on a historic sailing ship is a different experience from a night out on the town. The group spends two days together on a closed, moving platform, with a skipper, deck, galley, and bunks. That forces decisions: who cooks, who handles the music, who keeps an eye on the bride or groom if one too many glasses are had.
The skipper sets the route based on the weather. You often sail toward Vlieland, Terschelling, or a Frisian fishing harbour, with the chance along the way to dry out on a sandbank. On board there is room for your own programme: a speech at sunset, a quiz below deck, a morning dive off the deck. The ship won't become a party bar, but a floating living room where the group relies on each other and the bride or groom stays at the centre of it all.
