The Dommel winds its way through Eindhoven, from Genneper Parken to beyond the Philips de Jongh Wandelpark. Not every stretch is navigable for sloops, as the stream becomes narrow and shallow. Many rental operators therefore opt for a combined route, boarding at the Eindhovens Kanaal or at a mooring point near the city's edge, with the navigable Dommel section as a peaceful extension.
