Je auto zelf wassen scheelt geld en is met een beetje aandacht net zo grondig als de wasstraat. Zet de auto in de schaduw zodat de zeep niet opdroogt tot strepen, en leg alles klaar: een emmer, autoshampoo, een zachte spons, een microvezeldoek en een tuinslang.
Begin altijd bij de wielen, die zitten het diepst onder het remstof. Was daarna de carrosserie van boven naar beneden, zodat vuil van boven niet op schoon werk terechtkomt, en spoel je spons vaak uit om krassen te voorkomen. Spoel alles goed af, droog meteen na met de microvezeldoek en breng eventueel een laagje was aan voor glans en bescherming. Klaar in een uurtje.

Park the car in the shade and get everything ready: bucket, car shampoo, soft sponge, microfiber cloth, and hose.
Suggestion: Shade prevents the soap from drying out and leaving streaks.Start with the wheels using a rim cleaner and brush, and rinse them off before moving on.
Wash the bodywork from top to bottom and rinse your sponge frequently to prevent scratches.
Rinse everything thoroughly and immediately dry off with the microfiber cloth, again from top to bottom.
Optionally apply a layer of wax in small circles for extra shine and protection.
