Visiting a goat farm on a Sunday morning is not a children's park trip and not agro-tourism. It's simply walking into a working farm where people milk on Sundays and sell cheese from a small wooden shed out back. The goats roam free, climb on barrels, nibble at your trousers, and the farmer's wife says something friendly but clearly has work to do.
What makes it: it wasn't set up for you. You stand in a real barn for an hour watching, you taste milk from a bucket that's just been emptied, you buy cheese that was made at eleven o'clock. On the way back you sit in the car with cheese on the back seat and the smell slowly spreads through. That is a good Sunday.

- Ask the farmer a question about their work. Not the standard "is it tough". Something specific (which breed, how much milk per day).

- - Met kinderen: vraag of ze geitjes mogen aaien. Vraag eerst, doe niet aanname.
- - Met meer tijd: combineer met een streekmarkt in dezelfde regio op de zondagmiddag.
- - In de winter: dieren staan binnen, kaas is volwassener, geen wandeling door de wei.
- - Solo: een zondagochtend alleen op een boerderij voelt verbluffend rustgevend.
