A birthday without cake is not a real birthday. And if you eat gluten-free, you really don't have to sit on the sidelines, because this cake is just as light and sweet as any other. You need only a few ingredients and you probably already have most of them at home.
You mix gluten-free flour with baking powder, sugar, eggs, butter, and vanilla into a smooth batter, bake the cake golden brown in about half an hour, and finish it with your favourite glaze. Let it cool completely before glazing, cut into slices, and enjoy something homemade that everyone at the table can dig into.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and gather your ingredients: 200 grams of gluten-free flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 200 grams of sugar, 4 eggs, 200 grams of butter, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, and glaze.
Mix the flour, baking powder, and sugar in a bowl. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with melted butter and vanilla, then stir everything together into a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into a greased and floured tin and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely before glazing, otherwise the glaze will melt right off. Then apply an even layer.
Cut into slices, put it on the table, and enjoy your homemade gluten-free birthday cake.
