Better golf 6 of 8: Bunker and short game hour

30 min Active

Start

Thirty minutes in the practice bunker and around the chipping green. Sand stops being scary when you hit it on purpose.

Draw a line in the sand. Ten swings hitting the sand two centimetres behind the line, no ball.

Suggestion: The club must enter the sand, not the ball.

Now ten balls on the line, face open, weight left, full follow through.

Suggestion: Splash the sand out and the ball comes with it.

Around the green: ten chips from the fringe with a putter, then ten with a wedge.

Suggestion: Which one gets closer? Use that one on the course.

Five lob shots from thick grass, if the green allows it. Open face, accelerate.

Suggestion: Only use this shot when you have to.

Finish with ten one metre putts. All of them in.

Suggestion: End on a make.
