Better golf 8 of 8: A practice round with a scorecard that counts something else
4 h Active
Play nine or eighteen holes and score fairways, greens and putts instead of strokes. The numbers tell you what to practise next.
Veertien fairways, negen greens in regulation, zevenendertig putts, drie van de zes up and down kansen benut.
Before the round, write four columns on the card: fairway hit, green in regulation, putts, up and down.
Suggestion: Strokes are a result. These are causes.Use the course plan from part 5 on every tee.
Suggestion: No driver on the holes you marked.Count putts honestly, including the tap-ins.
Suggestion: Thirty six putts is two per hole. Below thirty is good.Note every chip that ends inside two metres as an up and down chance.
Suggestion: Short game shows up here. After the round, add up the columns. The weakest column is the next month.
Suggestion: Then start this series again at the part that matches.Related playbooks
