Walk for ten minutes without picking anything up. Just look at colours and shapes.

Suggestion: Notice how many kinds of yellow there are.

Pick a first leaf for its colour, a second for its shape, a third for its damage. Holes and bite marks count.

Suggestion: The imperfect one is usually the best one.

Lay them next to each other on a bench or the ground and take one photo.

Suggestion: Flat light works better than sun for this.

At home: press them in a book, or put them on the table for a week.

Suggestion: Write the date and the place on a slip of paper next to them.
